Municipal Pilot Program

Welcome to SEEC Municipal Pilot Program

On June 30, 2015, the Governor signed Special Act 15-14 into law which permitted the Commission to establish a pilot program that would allow up to 20 municipalities to transfer some or all of their filing repository duties to the Commission for the 2017 election cycle. The Commission established an application process and criteria for the selection of the municipalities. Shortly thereafter, Commission staff invited 51 municipalities to apply to the program after they expressed initial interest in participating.

This portal will allow the public to view all registration and disclosure filings of the 20 selected municipalities for the 2017 election cycle: Cheshire, Colchester, East Haddam, East Haven, Hamden, Killingworth, Manchester, Meriden (city), Middletown (city), Monroe, New Britain (city), New Hartford, Norwich (city), Pomfret, Scotland, Simsbury, Stonington, Trumbull, West Hartford, Westport

eCRIS - Campaign Reporting Information System

State Elections Enforcement Commission (SEEC) was given the responsibility for implementing an electronic campaign reporting system for candidates, political committees and party committees that are required to file with SEEC. eCRIS enables candidates, political committee and party committee chairs, and treasurers to electronically submit required committee registration information and campaign finance statements detailing the receipts and expenditures of the committee. One of our primary goals is to ensure compliance with campaign finance laws.
