The Commission’s Candidate Services Unit was formed with the goal of assisting statewide office and General Assembly candidates, treasurers and campaign staff participating in the Citizens' Election Program in understanding and complying with Program rules and requirements. Candidate Services Liaisons are assigned to participating candidates and are available to answer questions, listen to suggestions and provide support with all aspects of the Program.

Statewide office and General Assembly candidates who are not participating in the Program are also assigned a Candidate Services Liason who will assist their campaign in complying with the campaign finance statutes and regulations. This liaison is the first point of contact for candidates, treasurers and campaign staff with any questions.

The Candidate Service Unit also assists candidates running for judge of probate and municipal office.
